Abstract: The current research aimed to identify the level of academic self- concept and the role of flipped learning strategy in improving it, as well as to detecting the differences in academic self- concept according to the gender variable, the research was conducted on a sample of students from the college of Education, in the departments of curriculum and teaching methods and classroom teacher , their umber was 64 male and female students , in the research academic self- concept scale prepared by AL- swlha 2016 was used, after verifying its validity and reliability in the Syrian environment. The research ended with the following results:
– There is a high positive level of academic self- concept.
– There is a high positive role of the flipped learning strategy in improving academic self- concept. – There is no difference in the level of academic self- concept according to the gender variable.
